Personal profile

I am a marketing academic with teaching, research, and professional experience across the UK and Türkiye. I currently teach marketing at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, where I deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules and supervise dissertations and thesis. Previously, I worked as an Assistant Professor, where I taught a range of marketing and business courses at undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs while taking on several academic leadership and administrative responsibilities.

My research and teaching interests include consumer behaviour, global marketing, place branding, macro marketing, and the growing role of AI in marketing. I am particularly interested in understanding how emerging technologies influence consumers, organisations, and society, and how marketing can contribute to sustainable and responsible business practice.

Alongside my academic work, I have collaborated with businesses, public institutions, and non-governmental organisations on consultancy, executive training, and business development projects. My research has been published in books, book chapters, academic journals, and international conference proceedings. Through my teaching and research, I aim to combine academic rigour with practical relevance, creating learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and prepare students to address contemporary marketing challenges.
