Sam is a lecturer in the faculty of Business and Law at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, prior to joining the academia, he was involved in Managing Consultancy and People Management at executive level. His academic experience include programme leadership, module leadership, line management, personal tutoring, external examination, supervising postgraduate research projects, design and plan learning activities, teach and support learning through appropriate approaches, teach and give feedback for learning. His practice centres around the purpose, values, specialist knowledge and core behaviours of the Chatered Institute of People Development (CIPD). He is also a Professional Recognition Scheme (FHAE) reviewer and mentor.
His research interests revolves around understanding how people, ideas and institutions come together to drive positive changeand improve people performance especially in the public sector and small business contexts. He is passionate about making research useful for policy and practice, and his projects often explore how skills, technology and innovation can help build more resilient businesses and communities. He is open to PhD supervision within his areas of research interests.
